I’m in Target. A little “red dot therapy” if you will.

They have the Strawberry Shortcake doll. The original 1980 design (and all her friends). And the original 1983 My little pony, with the little plastic comb.

My heart, it honest to goodness squeezed a little.

I could smell strawberries & she is still in the package. Childhood memories are so strong! I pray my girls have these precious glimpses back to a happy childhood.

Now can someone help me come up with a reason to buy these nostalgic toys? For the children of course.
