Hooray for me!

Callie was telling me some random, yet clearly praiseworthy thing she had done. She ended her declaration with “Hooray for me!”

Of course that brought a grin to my face. But it also made me think maybe we should celebrate the small victories more.

You woke up this morning. Yay you!

It’s Friday! Whoop whoop!

It’s February, getting closer to spring. Hooray!

You got your kids to school, maybe even on time. You go girl!

I’m giving you permission to celebrate the small victories today.

I’m gonna celebrate the fact that I bought all the ingredients for my mother in law’s delicious Lasagna AND I remembered to lay out the hamburger last night. I am on fire!

Hooray for me! Hooray for you!
