I subbed today for first time this school year.

In Kindergarten.

Sweetest group of 5 & 6 year olds.

One of the little kittens drew me this picture.

I just love the fact that this age is so free with their love & affection. We really should be more like kindergarteners.

Without the yucky booger picking & questionable hand washing habits of course.

I feel like I have run a marathon.

My own little ones are watching iPads & eating cereal (their choice). I don’t care as long as no one is screaming or bleeding.

The lesson plans were great, couldn’t have asked for better.

Why do I feel like I’ve worked a 60 hour week & it’s Friday night?

Oh & it was a half day. I worked for 3 stinkin’ hours.

Bless our teachers. They really do important & exhausting work.

Now excuse me while I go wash my hands one more time.
